The foreign investors are looking forward to invest in Indian stocks. The government on Sunday decided to allow qualified foreign investors including overseas individuals, to invest directly in Indian stock markets. Earlier QFIs were permitted to invest only in mutual fund schemes. The Securities and Exchange Board of India will issue detailed guidelines over the next two weeks.
